Thanks BuNter!
I would host a feed to the channel 35 here in Canberra but anyone listerning would fall asleep before hearing anything :(
Also the repeaters section lists ACT 07 Mt Ginini, wells thats been off air for over a year. You might want to fix that up, and thats right, no repeaters for Canberra :(

bugger no repeater for that part of AU NOT HAPPY JAN lol.

OK i tried running 2 live feeds off one PC no go so what i will be doing in a few will be to set up a 6th PC, you say 6th PC yep thats how many PCs make up CBDomain one is for web one for ftp 2 for live feeds 1 gateway thats also the firewall and one email.

Soon to be shutting down the ftp PC and put it on the web server and hope to put email and web as one so we will have a backup web/email/ftp PC

over the next few hours should have the HF 35 live feed back up and running

the address will be mms://www.cbdomain.com:8082

thats if all goes well

I love usen the live UHF Ch2/4 Feed, you should know that by now Bunter, as for running two feeds off one machine... It might be possible but from what i hear its a pain in the royal ass, unless you want to run a VMWare machine using the second card on the one box. The VM's O.S. will see that 2nd card as the default card. Its a bit of Fucken around, but worth it. Ne How, if i get my old box up ill run a dedicated feed for one of the channels, possibly looking after the channel 2 or look after a new channel.

this is Wat i am needing to get it back up please read this thread

http://www.cbdomain.com/smf/index.php/topic,597.0.html (http://www.cbdomain.com/smf/index.php/topic,597.0.html)

and I'm not willing to host a UHF one here in Sydney, not as long as UHF CB is being controlled by Merry Burger and her Gutless thugs.

Well i have the live feed encoder running on a live feed PC you will be happy to know i hope before the end of next week i will have 35LSB back up and running, i just have to buy the parts needed to make the sound cable and were off and running.

you can connect to the live feed now to see if you can access it but you will not hear anything.

This afternoon the 35LSB live feed was done for some maintenance, when it was donated i have been lazy and had the radio just sitting on a shelf, today i made a longer power cord and put a fuse in line as well as bolted it to a bracket on the shelf so its permanate, and out of the way so it will not get damaged or accidentally turned off or knocked off frequency.

The radio will drift from time to time, there isn't much i can do about that but to every know and then have a listen and see if it need to be adjusted.

today it was only off line for 10Min's so all is back up and running.

Sorry just found the live feed had network problems and notice it wasn't being used, the power cable on the remote LAN switch had fallen out, so now its back up and running again as of 4/6/09 at 6pm.

some have said that the live feed is sounding off and deaf, reason it is deaf its running on an home made inverted V, it needs a vertical to work better.

a few years ago it used to be running on a kenwood receiver and it always was on frequency, but I'm happy with what was donated by blinky.

See the quality of the live feed depends on the equipmet its using, now i cant afford much as it cost me enough for the cost of the connection as well as the electricity.

so the live feed is only good as the donation.

as i said before I'm greatfull for any donation of equipmet for the servers or the live feeds.

so if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to say them here.

last 2 weeks the live feed has had some problems software problems keeps crashing the program.

i had the PC crash on me 2 weeks ago as i had a power problem here at my home and it would run on for 4 days and play up for 4 days no power.

2 weeks ago it did it and the PC would no reboot.

so now I'm looking at re installing the OS on that PC and put the live feed back on it again and it should run like it did before 2 weeks ago.

35 live feed is down, as of 3:57pm this afternoon I'm reinstalling the OS on the PC thats running the live feed.

in the next hour or less it should be back up and running and should not keep crashing like it has for the past month or more.

reason its been crashing is the PC had the BSOD  (Blue Screen of Death), and from that day its been making the live feed unstable.

so with this fresh install it should be back up and running like it used to before the BSOD.
