So far Mr B2 your theory seems to be holding valid

I have been scanning the CB frequencies off and on for the last couple of months and am still trying to get my head around what is happening on Channel 7 in particular.
It is like a war zone interspersed with the occasional lull in hostilities
Colourful personalities with handles such as "001", "004", kevin, rocket, shorty etc seem to get the most vocal interjections and carrier-dropping, to the point where the repeater crashed bigtime a few weeks ago
In addition the power on the repeater seems to go up and down .... one wag called it the Blacktown intercom
On one recent evening the Channel 7 ident and repeater even showed up on Channel 1 (476.425Mhz)
It can be entertaining at times but at this rate i can't see it as a going concern longterm.
It is a pity CB in Sydney has become the way it is, as I use to enjoy listening to the conversations, especially late at night on nightshift at work
I even listened to Mr B2 while he was driving his bus late at night and maintaining a commentary

Anybody got any idea what has happened to the Channel 7 repeater
It doesn't appear to be at Blacktown any more (or it is off air?)
It has gone very quiet from my inner west location, apart from one or two power stations on simplex

does it matter as UHF has gone to pot, to be honest it would be better with out it so the owner and her hoodlums would not be able to control people that use it.
