Liability Fee Rumour
« Reply #1 on: October 29, 2006, 02:04:19 PM »
There has been a rumour circulating that clubs/groups wishing to be exhibitors at the 2007 field day will have to pay a $700 fee for Public Liability insurance if they don't have their own coverage.

After being contacted about this ACREM made contact with the Central Coast Amateur Radio Club, who run the field day, and enquired regarding this rumour.

We have been assured by the CCARC that the story is FALSE. There is NO fee or levy for Public Liability coverage and all remains the same as past years.

If anyone hears this rumour or has further information regarding its source, please contact the Central Coast Amateur Radio Club on email fieldday@ccarc.org.au

ACREM will be there again in 2007, hopefully somewhere near where we were in 2006, so if you come down stop in and say hello!

Cheers
